In a report in yesterday's Hindu (in its Karnataka pages), quoted J. Shashidhar Prasad, Vice Chancellor, University of Mysore, as saying that "talks on the establishment of the Mysore centre of the Indian Institute of Science have gained momentum and they are at a crucial stage."
